A wonderful evening of cookery demonstrations by North West chef Breda Murphy has “whisked up” fundraising for Whalley’s RC English Martyrs Church restoration appeal. The event – held at Oakhill College, Whalley – attracted parish members, Oakhill parents and general food lovers of all ages, to watch one of the region’s top chefs, Breda Murphy, and her team prepare food with a theme of ‘Easy Entertaining’. Anyone who missed the demonstration by Breda – who owns a restaurant in Whalley – can still get a “taste” thanks to the wonders of modern technology.
