Terrance Brain, bishop of Salford. It is to be read out in all churches of the diocese, infact similar communication with the congregation will be taking place all over the world! The marriage of Alexandra Selina Arnfield and Neil Andrew Tidmarsh took place in our beautiful church today.  The sun shone for the happy couple we wish them a long and happy future together. (click on heading for pictures) The bride wore a beautiful Ivory dress and the bridesmaids were in Black with cerise trimmed shoes.  Alexandra carried a bouquet of Gerberas interspersed with  special blue thistles.  Theresa and Pat did the church flower arrays to match.   Double click on pictures for a larger version.

Within your will, O Lord, all things are established, and there is none that can resist your will. SVP CONFERENCE REPORT Phil Mahon spoke to the congregation about the work of the SVP and their activities.  The basis of their work in this area is to visit and befriend people in need, providing practical and moral support. They visit people in their homes or in nursing homes. They also have an SVP hospital visitor who will visit patients in local hospitals. Parishioners can contact Father Price if they know a relative or friend that could benefit from the services of the SVP.
