Craft Fair

. We are intending to have a Craft Fair later this year in the church.  This will be a fundraising event to assist in paying off the loan we had for the church re-furbishment, Yes we are still paying it off and will be for another 5 years!  The idea is that this will be a parish affair not a commercial one so those of you who enjoy making things and selling them this is your chance.  If you are interested please let Father Price know in the first instance.  There will of course be the usual high class catering going on and stalls for cakes and home made produce.

A grand day out

. In the Easter Holidays the young people from our church and Father Price (young at heart) had a great day out in Clapham (between Ingleton and Settle). This was a great adventure in lovely countryside. We walked 1.5 miles up the river to the caves, had a picnic followed by a tour of the caves (hence the hard hats – some stretches were very low and we had to crouch down). The caves were fascinating – we saw stalactites and stalagmites – some looked like witches fingers! We also had delicious fish and chips in Settle on the way home – and the sun shone...

Thank You

THANK YOU TO SO MANY PEOPLE for making Holy Week and the Triduum so special. The children and young people reading so well, cleaners, musicians, servers and florists all fit together to spell out the Eternal Truths of the Faith.
