SVP trip a great success!

. SVPnews. All who went on the trip last Thursday will join me in thanking the SVP for a lovely afternoon. After Mass here we made the journey Townely Hall where the conducted tour was more interesting than anyone expected. We had a very nice lunch, lots of chat and everyone enjoyed a very interesting visit. The Conference meets on Monday at 6.00pm in the presbytery.

Rome trip a “hot” success!

. THE ROME TRIP LAST WEEK was an amazing time. The weather was kind and delightfully warm. We said Mass every day including The Gesu – the headquarters of the Jesuit Community, The Catacomb of Calixtus, St. Peter’s Basilica at the Altar of St. John XX111. We were also part of The Wednesday Audience and had a privileged tour of The Scavi – the excavations underneath St. Peter’s Basilica where the remains of St. Peter are clearly visible. In all these places you were all duly remembered and The Papal Blessing at the end of the Audience was extended to the friends and family of all who were present.
